Notice the Survey? Okay here's the deal. So of you know, but some don't. I am getting into the Real Estate field. Now all R.E. agents have some corny slogan they use - you know, a tag line.
Here's where your part comes in. I need you to vote on your favorite one.
If you have a better suggestion, please post it here.

What Happened To My Camera?
I left it at a wedding reception. So the last month I have had to rely on my camera phone, which take really shitty pictures.
At least now I have an excuse to buy an upgraded version. ;)
I was thinking a new Canon. Any suggestions?

Tuesday Ramblings
The photo above is of a Bleeding Heart, from my garden. I bought this plant last year, as a baby. A the end of Spring it withered away and I thought it was gone for good. But.... this Spring it come back - 4 TIMES the size of last year, with a diameter somewhere around 7 feet. If you take a close look at it, you will see where it got it's name.
Saturday the family loaded up to meet Hubby side of family at the local crab restaurant "The Old Mill". The crabs were delicious. The beer, nice and cold. Me, major buzz leaving that place (I was slurring my words - per hubby). I am allowed once and a while to get my buzz on. Just because I am a Mom does not mean I am not allowed to have any fun. !!!!!!!!!
Monday we spent a family day at the beach. Rehobeth Beach to be exact. For those of you not locals, if I mention "Ocean City, Maryland" or "Seacrets" does that ring a bell? Rehobeth is not far from there. I am not a big fan of sitting out or laying out on the beach. But this year, it's working for me!! Since I have been working out and changing my lifestyle - Momma was feeling a little sexy, and got noticed too.... Traffic was not bad, everyone else was trying to get home.
We get home last night, I decide to throw some burgers and corn on the cob on the grill and fry some squash, my daughter decides she is going to throw up. RED JUICE ALL OVER MY BEIGE CARPET. If you remember, my son was sick last week, so last night her turn. This morning at 5:30 ---- it was my turn.
So I am miserable, home alone and really, really , really thirsty.

Something I Completely Stole
1. Go to the grocery store.
2. Arrange to have your salary paid directly to their head office.
3. Go home.
4. Pick up the paper.
5. Read it for the last time.
*Lesson 2*
Before you finally go ahead and have children, find a couple who
already are parents and berate them about their...
1. Methods of discipline.
2. Lack of patience.
3. Appallingly low tolerance levels.
4. Allowing their children to run wild.
5. Ways in which they might improve their child's breast-feeding,
sleep habits, toilet training, table manners, and overall behavior.
Enjoy it because it will be the last time in your life you will have
all the answers.
*Lesson 3*
A really good way to discover how the nights might feel...
1. Get home from work and immediately begin walking around the
living room from 5PM to 10PM carrying a wet bag weighing
approximately 8-12 pounds, with a radio turned to static (or some other obnoxious sound) playing loudly.
(Eat cold food with one hand for dinner) 2. At 10PM, put the bag
gently down, set the alarm for midnight, and go to sleep.
3. Get up at 12 and walk around the living room again, with the bag,
until 1AM.
4. Set the alarm for 3AM.
5. Since you can't get back to sleep, get up at 2AM and make a drink
and watch an infomercial.
6. Go to bed at 2:45AM.
7. Get up at 3AM when the alarm goes off.
8. Sing songs quietly in the dark until 4AM.
9. Get up. Make breakfast. Get ready for work and go to work (work
hard and be productive)
Repeat steps 1-9 each night. Keep this up for 3-5 years. Look
cheerful and together.
*Lesson 4*
Can you stand the mess children make? To find out...
1. Smear peanut butter onto the sofa and jam onto the curtains.
2. Hide a piece of raw **** behind the stereo and leave it there
all summer.
3. Stick your fingers in the flower bed.
4. Then rub them on the clean walls.
5. Take your favorite book, photo album, etc. Wreck it.
6. Spill milk on your new pillows. Cover the stains with crayons.
How does that look?
*Lesson 5*
Dressing small children is not as easy as it seems.
1. Buy an octopus and a small bag made out of loose mesh.
2. Attempt to put the octopus into the bag so that none of the arms
hang out.
Time allowed for this - all morning.
*Lesson 6*
Forget the BMW and buy a mini-van. And don't think that you can
leave it out in the driveway spotless and shining. Family cars don't look like that.
1. Buy a chocolate ice cream cone and put it in the glove
compartment. Leave it there.
2. Get a dime. Stick it in the CD player.
3. Take a family size package of chocolate cookies. Mash them into
the back seat. Sprinkle cheerios all over the floor, then smash them with your foot.
4. Run a garden rake along both sides of the car.
*Lesson 7*
Go to the local grocery store. Take with you the closest thing you
can find to a pre-school child (a full-grown goat is an excellent
choice). If you intend to have more than one child, then definitely take more than one goat.
Buy your week's groceries without letting the goats out of your
sight. Pay for everything that the goat eats or destroys. Until you
can easily accomplish this, do not even contemplate having children.
*Lesson 8*
1. Hollow out a melon.
2. Make a small hole in the side.
3. Suspend it from the ceiling and swing it from side to side.
4. Now get a bowl of soggy Cheerios and attempt to spoon them into
the swaying melon by pretending to be an airplane.
5. Continue until half the Cheerios are gone.
6. Tip half into your lap. The other half, just throw up in the air.
You are now ready to feed a nine- month-old baby.
*Lesson 9*
Learn the names of every character from Sesame Street , Barney,
Disney, the Teletubbies, and Pokemon. Watch nothing else on TV but
PBS, the Disney Channel or Noggin for at least five years (I know,
you're thinking "What's 'Noggin'"?). Exactly the point.
*Lesson 10*
Make a recording of Fran Drescher saying "mommy" over and over and over again.

How Safe Are We?
I was reading an article on http://www.waiterrant.net about how oblivious most people are to everyday hidden dangers. It got me thinking. I do not live in some big city, I live in a small town, but we have crime too. Quite a bit of small petty crimes, i.e. theft, vandalism, ect.. and very little Major crime, i.e., murders, rapes, bank robberies, ect..
Even though crime is low here, I still believe in being pro-active to protecting yourself. For example: when I walk to my car from ANYWHERE (walmart, food lion, dollar store, work) my biggest car key is sticking through my index and middle fingers. I WILL STAB YOUR EFFING EYES OUT!!!
In my old car, I carried an aluminum baseball bat right next to the drivers seat. LOL - one time I had stopped and picked up a high chair, as the guy was loading it in my car, he was visibly shaken by my bat and asked why I had it. I explained that as a mother of one (at the time) and being female, I had a right to protect myself and would protect my child and myself should a situation arise. Thankfully I never had to use that bat, and I got in trouble when I got pulled over for a traffic violation, but that doesn't matter :)
I always say know your surroundings, watch people and trust your gut. If something doesn't feel right, there's a reason for it.
So my question to you is: How aware do you feel you are? Are you pro-active for your own safety? Have you ever been in a situation where you had to protect yourself from a crime?

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day (belated) to all the Mothers out there. What did your Mother's Day consist of? Anything? Or nothing at all? Was it great? Or spent in bed?
I'll go first..... It was great, just the kids and me all day (until 5 or so).
I received my first piece of Vera Wang clothing. Interesting......
I cooked and ate asparagus for the first time - and loved it. Yes I cooked. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF TAKING ME OUT TO DINNER ON A HOLIDAY. My home cooked menu consisted of... Ribeye steak - cooked perfect, Red Skin Mashed Potatoes - whipped ever so lightly and Asparagus in a cheese and bacon sauce....delicious.
Kids were especially happy and well behaved all day.
Hubby loves Hallmark. Hallmark cards do it for me. So....I did hubby...ROFLMAO!!!

The Juice Debate
For those of you with children or are trying to find a healthier alternative to actually eating veggies. Here is some interesting info:
Juicy Juice: 8 oz Serving:
110 cal.
0 fat
20 mg Sodium
260 mg Potassium
28 gram Carbs
0 Fiber
26 grams Sugar
120% Vitamin C
Diet V8 Splash Juice: 8 oz Serving
10 Cal.
0 fat
40 mg Sodium
100 mg Potassium
3 grams Carbs
(no avail fiber info)
2 grams Sugar
100% Vitamin C
100% Vitamin A
20% Vitamin E
I provide this info because being a mother and all.. I do read nutrition labels for my kids. I always gave them Juicy Juice. UNTIL I seen the calorie, sugar & carb difference compared to Diet V8. Not to mention the Vit. A & E in there. I switched and they have no idea. Okay I even had a glass and it was good. Try it, or at least bring this to the attention of parents you know. FYI: I pulled label info and this info is accurate.

Diarear Of The Mouth
As I talked about in an earlier post, my daughter has had the diarear of the mouth. She got toys taken away and ect... ect.... As promised, if she did not get her name on the board for the rest of the week, then she could have her toys back on Saturday. She earned her toys back. No more name on the board this week.
She is still so young and has not learned how to lie yet, so I can tell she was being honest. She lit right up when I picked her up. That is the good news mommy wants to hear. That news makes me happy.

Tuesday Mumbles......
Man. Weird dreams... This medicine says it may make you have vivid dreams. After 3 weeks of taking it, they finally kick in. First dream: it was my other brother involved in the accident, but he started walking. Second dream: I could not get my new flowers in the ground - it was like concrete. Third dream: my hubby died in his sleep, all I kept saying in my dream was "I am a 25 year old widow"... WEIRD I TELL YA. WEIRD.
Almost done school. I have 3 more classes and 2 more exams. Yes, I am looking forward to being complete and moving forward. Scared? Yes. But that's okay.
The post with my daughter's poem from school is coming later this afternoon, I have to go get it on my lunch break. I have dial up at home and most times it will not let me post pictures with my blogs, so I have to do it from work.
Speaking of my daughter I found out that she has not been as good as she says she has been while in school. I email her teacher at least 2 times a week, and she never mentioned to me that Miss P. has a talking issue. Or diareah of the mouth as we call it. She has been getting her name on the board almost everyday and has been moved twice - all for talking. Once the teacher informed me (last week) Miss P. , her father and me sat down and had a discussion about proper behavior in school and how we are there to learn, not talk. Couldn't really punish her because it was after the fact. But......last night on the way home I asked her if she got her name on the board and she got silent. So I knew the answer before she could get anything out of her mouth. She had to clean all the toys out of her room and move them to the play room. Now, she has a substitute the rest of this week, I told her if I get a good report at the end of the week with no more names on the board then she could move her things back in her room. That about killed her. No Skating, no Nintendo DS, no Barbies, no coloring, no movies, no nothing but writing pads, and reading books. I can't take education away. So we will see how this week goes.
My brother comes home in a week. If anyone is familiar or from this area on June 7th starting at Noon, there is going to be a benefit for him at "The House" in Laurel, DE. 10 bands will be present, 93 cent drafts, 50/50 raffle. This event will run from noon til 1 a.m. Cover charge is $10.00 and all those proceeds go towards his medical bills (they are over $500,000.00). My oldest brother and his band "Another Vicious Cycle" have coordinated the event. (You can Google them to get a gist of their music).

Day 12 - No Smoking
12 Days already. Woo Hoo.
Still keeping busy. Added situps and push ups (real ones) to my workout. Had my yard graded this weekend, so I was outside keeping my eye on the man tearing up and fixing my yard. Planted some topiary - the shaped shrubs, and moved some other plants around.
Cooked alot too this weekend. Surprisingly I didn't eat as much as I thought I would. Some people eat as they cook, I am not one of them.
Sunday on my way to the local Wally World, I get behind a guy in a jeep - SMOKING. As he exhaled the smoke, I could smell it. Talk about nasty. I am so glad I am a NON-Smoker now.
Just keep busy.....that's what I keep telling myself.
P.S. tomorrow I will have a post, and a picture/ project my daughter did in school (Kindergarten) for Mothers Day - About me NOT SMOKING.
